Isaiah House Visit

Well, the day didn't start out to good. The forcasted weather was at 30/35% chance or rain, but upon arriving at the Dealership, it started raining. Nancy and Bob braved the weather and showed up on their bikes in rain gear. What brave souls. 

My phone rang and Thom said he would meet us with at the dealership in his car. We were thankful for that and all piled in Thom and Hester's car. Yeah!!! Earlier in the week Leon had called me stated how he would like to donate some additinoal money to Isaiah House. So I called Leon and he agreed to meet us at the house. 

We arrived and I was finally able to meet Bethany, the manager at the Isaiah House. She was so happy to see us and was surprised that we came in the rain. We were not able to see inside the house as planned because the night before they had to bring in a child. So, we stayed on the porch and talked a bit. Bethany offered that we could come back another time to take a tour of the house. We were pleased to be invited back. 

Well, we had a big surprise that morning. After we presented our $620 check, Leon was very gracious and presented a check for $1380 check for a total of $2000!!! Thank you Leon!! Bethany was very surprised. 

We then said our goodbyes, Leon headed home. Thom, Heaster, Nancy, Bob and I went to lunch at a 50s dinner on the 66 and it was still raining!!!! Uh!!

But it was still a GREAT DAY!!!
