January 3 Chapter Meeting

First Chapter meeting for 2026. What a great turnout. After the meeting we rode to Forest Grove Resort Cafe just outsside Dandridge for some amazing food. It was great to hangout and catch up with everyone after the holidays. What a great start to 2026. Thankks everyone that attended and hope to see everyone at the next meeting.

Christmas Party 2025

What a great time. The barn was warm this year and very festivae thanks to all who particpated in decorating and setting up! The party started with a bang, as Christina B brought in a cake with our Chapter Logo on it!!! Dang what a great surprise. Thank you.  The food, was a traditoinal Christmas meal and there was plenty of it. A special thanks to Jerry and Julie B there was also PLENTY of Cheer!! To bad they couldn't partake due to other obilgations.

What a sombering day! Placing wreaths on Verterans Graves is an honor. The WAA montra is for us to Remember the fallen, Honor those who served and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.  When you place a wreath on a grave you are to say the persons name, thereby remembering them. You are honoring them by being there and traching as there were many young groups and children there. To me the picutures of the wreaths on the graves says it all.  It was a cold morning but it warmed up quite a bit by the end of the event. Making us wish we rode.

Daily Bread Food Kitchen Donations

A group of our Thunderhead H.O.G. members met for lunch today at Good Ole’ Days. Followed up by bringing ALL of the donations collected at the dealership to Daily Bread. We can’t thank you enough for your support on this community outreach. The staff at Daily Bread was very pleased with all of our donations. Thank you all again for making this happen! We can do great things together.

Veterans Luncheon at Regency in Morristown

On Tuesday a few of us rode over to the The Regency Retirement Home in Morristown, to honor Veterans at a luncheon. It was a great ride and we were able to meet two WWII Veterans  and Korean Veterans!  The guest speaker was a company that aids veterans in obtaining or improving their disability ratings.  The food was a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with some cupcakes or brownies for desert.

Isaiah House Visit

Well, the day didn't start out to good. The forcasted weather was at 30/35% chance or rain, but upon arriving at the Dealership, it started raining. Nancy and Bob braved the weather and showed up on their bikes in rain gear. What brave souls.  My phone rang and Thom said he would meet us with at the dealership in his car. We were thankful for that and all piled in Thom and Hester's car. Yeah!!! Earlier in the week Leon had called me stated how he would like to donate some additinoal money to Isaiah House. So I called Leon and he agreed to meet us at the house.
